When I first started cooking I had no idea what I was doing.  Over the years I slowly gained the skills and knowledge to prepare tasty food but it wasn’t until I was a chiropractic student that nutrition became very important to me as well.

It was also around that time that I started to have intense pain and swelling in my finger joints.  Nothing I did helped and finally I ended up removing wheat from my diet after reading Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis, M.D.  After I quit eating wheat my finger pain went away and I felt great!  That was my introduction into the power of food in human health and convinced me to start learning how to prepare simple, healthy recipes so that other people could experience similar improvements in their health.
